Heidi Riley, Master Gardner (obtained from Nova Scotia Agriculture College) is excited to be your guide for this tour. Heidi will answer questions and provide information at each garden.
Heidi is a life long gardener and has taught gardening at UPEI seniors' college for six years and facilitated gardening workshops for the PEI Food Exchange Garden Mentor Program.
We thank Heidi for her willingness to share her gardening knowledge with others.
The farmer/gardeners associated with the individual gardens will also be available as they are able.
This event is organized by the PEI Food Exchange and funded by the City of Charlottetown sustainability micro grant. We are grateful to all the gardens who have come on board to raise awareness of urban farming/gardening.
